The Academy is a privately owned and operated facility and is licensed and approved by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Institution is a private institution approved to operate by BPPE and the approval to operate as a private postsecondary institution in the State of California is based on provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) of 2009 (California Education Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 8), which is effective January 1, 2010. The Salon Professional Academy is part of a nationwide network of 25 schools, the only cosmetology school "Endorsed by Redken for Excellence in Education." Offering courses in Esthetics as well as a Dermalogica Partner School.
